Sherwood Friar Trot Sign Up Now!

The 5^th Annual Friar Trot 10K/5K & 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk will be May 15^th. Click here for more information and registration. This is a great way to support the community and get involved. This event is great for the whole family and even has a “Fun Run” for kids.

Sherwood Band Fundraiser: Swinging with Spaghetti

February 20^th, 6 – 8:30 pm: The Sherwood High School Band will be holding the annual “Swinging with Spaghetti” at Sherwood High School in the commons. Tickets for this event are $8 and are available from band and color guard members or at the door.

The Sherwood High School Band Department will be holding its 11th an-nual “Swinging with Spaghetti” on Saturday, February 20th at Sherwood High School in the commons from 6-8:30pm.

This event combines a spaghetti dinner complete with salad, dessert and a beverage served by band and color guard members, a silent auction, and entertainment provided by the two middle school jazz bands and the Sherwood High School Jazz Band. Tickets for this event are $8. They are available through band and color guard members, Frank Petrick, the band director, Anna McDermott at 503-547-4548 or at the door.

The funds earned at this event will benefit the students by allowing participation in band festivals, competitions and to help offset costs related to uniform and instrument repair.

The Sherwood Marching band has just finished its 2nd season of competitive performance and the jazz band just hosted its first Northwest Oregon Conference League jazz festival.
This fundraising event is being organized by the Sherwood High School Band Booster Club.

Sherwood Education Foundation: Take the Call!

Please “Take the Call” and support the Sherwood Education Foundation’s efforts to raise money in February. This is a great way to support the entire districts and make a difference.

Sherwood Baseball Crab Feed

Date and Time: Jan. 30th from 5pm to 9pm at the Sherwood Elks.

This is the 5th Annual Crab Feed and Silent Auction. Money raised will help offset costs of the spring break trip to Arizona and also for equipment for the 3 teams. Tickets are $35 apiece and available through any baseball player or Coach Strohmaier. Support Edy Ridge School Next Week by Dining at Famous Dave’s

Take the whole family to Famous Dave’s restaurant January 12-14th in Tualatin. They have a great kids menu and an extensive BBQ menu for adults also.
